Key Holder Opportunity – Elevate Retail Customer Service and Store Operations
As a Key Holder at Fred Perry, you will be a trusted team member, supporting store leadership in maintaining daily operations, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and ensuring the safety and security of the store. Key Responsibilities for Retail Key Holders
- Open and close the store according to company policy, ensuring security procedures are strictly followed.
- Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable, and personal service to all customers, embodying the Fred Perry brand at all times.
- Support the Store Management team with daily operational tasks, acting as the go-to colleague in their absence.
- Process transactions, manage tills and cash handling accurately and responsibly.
- Monitor security and health & safety around the shop floor, reporting and responding to incidents as needed.
- Assist with visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining a clean, welcoming retail environment.
- Address customer needs or concerns promptly, and escalate when appropriate to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Contribute to achieving store targets, supporting colleagues, and taking initiative to drive sales and service excellence.
- Participate in stock handling, deliveries, and regular stocktakes, following procedures to minimise loss and maintain organisation.
- Carry out any additional tasks as requested by Store Management, supporting the overall performance of the team and store.
Essential Skills and Experience for Key Holder Roles in Retail
- Previous experience in a retail environment, with some responsibility for key holding or supervisory tasks preferred.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, contributing to a positive and collaborative working atmosphere.
- Confidence providing high standards of customer service and proactively solving problems on the shop floor.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to operational excellence and upholding security standards.
- Organised with strong attention to detail, particularly with till operations and store presentation.
- A passion for retail, learning, and supporting a vibrant and diverse team.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends, evenings and peak trading periods, as required by the store schedule.
