Brand Projects Coordinator

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Brand Projects Coordinator role is to assist the Brand Manager to ensure that projects are progressing as they should be and to readily offer support throughout the project life cycle.
It is a varied role, with typical tasks including coordinating schedules and travel, tracking invoicing, coordinating shoots and events, overseeing budgets, managing chains of communication and reporting on the current state of projects to the Brand Manager. The Project Coordinator will also, where appropriate, take the lead on coordinating smaller projects under the guidance of the Brand Manager.
The role sits within Fred Perry’s in-house Brand creative team, but will work with the social commerce team, product design & development, buying and merchandising.
It’s a great role for someone who is keen to pursue a career in project management, with a flair for multitasking and communication. Above all else, the role requires a strong self-starter who is eager to work collaboratively, and proactively volunteer solutions to ensure the Brand Team’s projects run efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinating project team meetings and recording minutes.
- Overseeing and updating project schedules
- Assisting in the planning of Brand projects.
- Coordination of quarterly Brand exhibitions & Fashion shows
- Tracking invoices and liaising with accounts payable
- Managing sample movement cross departmentally
- Providing administrative support.
- Coordinating project team meetings and recording minutes.
- Working with Brand Manager to keep Asana up to date
BRAND EXHIBITIONS & FASHION SHOWS
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of quarterly Brand exhibitions.
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of Brand fashion shows.
GLOBAL MARKETS
- Assisting the Brand Manager with assets, files and information sharing with markets using our online platform ‘Backstage’
GENERAL
- Supporting the Head of Brand and at times Brand Creative Managers with any day-to-day tasks.
THE PERSON:
- A driven, highly motivated person with good problem-solving capabilities
- Process driven and able to spot inefficiencies and implement solutions
- Personable and good at building rapport with colleagues and external partners.
- Experience in working within imagery/ video production would be advantageous
- Previous experience within fashion/retail would be appreciated.
HOURS:
We actively encourage our teams to have a good work/life balance and so we are pleased to offer flexible working shifts at Fred Perry HQ. Our core shift hours are from 10am – 4.30pm and so employees can choose to start and finish early, or start and finish late. (i.e. work 8:00am-4:30pm, or 10:00am-6:30pm etc). We also have 30-minute early finish on Fridays.
As we continue to work in a more flexible way, the Head Office acts a brand hub, where we can all connect and collaborate with one another. This role is a mix of office based (London) and remote working. We will expect the employee to come into the office regularly for face-to-face meetings and to work alongside their team on collaborative projects.
