Customer Service Advisor

We are recruiting for an Customer Service Advisor to join our established Operations department here at Fred Perry. You will be based in our London head office and will proactively analyse delivery data and problem solve to support Fred Perry and our wholesale/external customer relationships. 

You will be the point of contact for our key distributors in Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Middle East and India.

The Role

  • Proactively work with your designated markets, Fred Perry Brand Managers and the Planning department to process seasonal orders 
  • Ensure sales order details on the system are constantly updated, including the deletion of withdrawn styles
  • Closely liaise with the Purchasing and Planning departments to facilitate the customer's requirements, quarterly style launches and stock information
  • Prepare export shipping documentation including invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists and proforma invoices
  • Liaise with the Credit Control department regarding any payment issues that may hinder shipments to customers
  • Authorise faulty stock returns from customers and in conjunction with Credit Control, issue credit notes applying the correct reason codes
  • Liaise with the Logistics department with regards to special labeling, packaging and delivery requirements for the customer
  • Fully update on a regular basis, both your line manager and our customer base of any prevailing logistic issues
  • Ensure filing is up to date and provide support to team members by covering for vacations and undertake any duties that are assigned to you 

About You

This is a great role for someone who is analytical, organised and has a good eye for detail! Previous logistics experience is not essential, however you must have excellent excel knowledge and understand the impact of great customer service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Numerate with strong analytical and computer literacy skills
  • Experience using stock systems and able to multi-task
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is essential
  • Team player - build relationships with other internal and external teams and functions
  • Organisational skills and strives for a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent work ethic

Hours and Benefits

Our core shift hours are from 8am – 10:00am, i.e. employees can choose to work 8-4:30pm, 8:30-5pm,etc. plus early finish on Friday!
