Facilities Assistant

We are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join our established Facilities team here at Fred Perry. You will be based in our London Head Office and responsible for maintaining a consistently high standard of service to meet the needs and deadlines of the business. 

You will be supporting the Facilities Manager and ensuring the smooth running of the Facilities department. Please note, this role will also include some office administration.

The Role

  • Ensure all incoming post and parcels are distributed to colleagues
  • Ensure stationary is fully stocked by arranging relevant stationary orders
  • Act as the point of contact for the Facilities help desk, while managing inquiries that are sent through to the Facilities email
  • Process all courier deliveries and booking of European travel for employees
  • Conduct Health and Safety building tours and complete daily office walks, looking out for faulty lights, cleanliness, temperature and other issues
  • Assisting with the organisation and running of staff sample sales
  • Assisting employees in the office with the manual set up and take down of showroom events and exhibitions
  • Covering the reception desk during lunchtimes, sickness, holidays and during busy periods - this includes answering the phones, greeting guests and booking meeting rooms
  • Assist with other ad-hoc related duties as required
  • Adhering to company Health and Safety guidelines regarding the manual handling of rails, VM fixtures and delivery boxes

About You

This is a great role for candidates with some experience working in facilities, store operations, stock control or reception. The Facilities Assistant is the point of contact for all facilities queries within our head office and 33 retail stores across the UK, EU and US.

  • Organised and able to priorities efficiently
  • Previous experience in a similar role - desirable
  • Attention to detail 
  • Personable and great attitude to work
  • Able to multi-task during busy periods
