Triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry founded his brand in 1952. He was the son of a cotton spinner, who played and fought his way through, always with style – and despite the establishment. Today, Fred Perry is a global community of over 370 employees, all inspired by the Laurel Wreath and what it represents.
PURPOSE: A Technologist position within the Brand Quality & Sustainability Team. A varied role working on the maintenance of the brand CSR & Sustainability initiatives with a focus on Transparency, Supply chain mapping and factory CAPs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing and collating data (Audits, Certifications) & collaborating on Corrective Action Planning
- Working on solutions and strategies for long-term sustainability goals
- Keeping up with industry standards and initiatives and building brand awareness
- Working closely with the Senior Technologist responsible for CSR & Compliance
THE PERSON:
Would suit someone who is passionate about Sustainability & CSR and would like to develop within a brand environment, using their experience of the end to end product development cycle and production processes.
- A good understanding of our brand
- 3-5 years experience as Technologist
- Thorough working knowledge of the end to end design, product development, production and retail processes
- A sound working knowledge of the main Audit bodies & sustainability tools available within our sector
- Experience in deep Supply chain mapping and evidence assessments

- Analytical thinking, with the Ability to effectively research and analyse externally
- Networking & maintaining relationships within the industry
- Able to take responsibility and can be trusted to get things done
- Able to manage multiple projects and developments simultaneously

- Passionate and always looking for opportunities to expand and grow within the area of Sustainability
HOURS:
We actively encourage our teams to have a good work/life balance and so we are pleased to offer flexible working shifts at Fred Perry HQ. Our core shift hours are from 10am – 4.30pm and so employees can choose to start and finish early, or start and finish late. (i.e. work 8:00am-4:30pm, or 10:00am-6:30pm etc). We also have 30-minute early finish on Fridays.
As we continue to work in a more flexible way, the Head Office acts a brand hub, where we can all connect and collaborate with one another. This role is a mix of office based (London) and remote working. We will expect the employee to come into the office regularly for face-to-face meetings and to work alongside their team on collaborative projects.
