Planning Coordinator - Reporting to the Planner

We are recruiting for a Planning Coordinator to join our established Operations department here at Fred Perry. You will be based in our London head office and will be working to the order placement schedule, sending order enquiries to suppliers and administer system purchase order entry and adjustments.

The Role

  • Action purchase order extractions and covered purchase orders for direct delivery to customers
  • Liaise with Customer Services, Logistics and Merchandising teams to ensure that deliveries and sales order dates match. Seasonal reporting on date mismatches and product shortfalls
  • Drive and maintain system information integrity such as product availability dates, sell/sold out flags, placement dates, planning forecasts, style info checks, uploading and maintenance of price files and checking Bos catalogue is complete
  • Responsible for size scale analysis set up pre-season to drive more effective buying
  • Responsible for distribution of pricelist, sales forecast & historical analysis to Market
  • Initiate the buy proposals for your area each week for review with planner and react to sales demand to maximise deliveries to customer’s requirements whilst minimising inventory risk
  • Assist with the appropriate reports and processes to achieve the internal aims of the department
  • Responsible for Place Date management: obtain and analyze place date information from suppliers; identifying and communicate any impact to planning, production and technical teams. 

About You

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate within the department as well as across other areas of the business to achieve departmental goals.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, at an advanced level  
  • Experience with Power BI desired but not essential
  • A self-starter with a pro-active & collaborative approach
  • Critical thinking Skills.
  • Attention to detail. 

Hours and Benefits

We offer flexible working hours to all head office employees. Due to the current situation we can consider candidates that wish to work both remotely and in the office.

Our core shift hours are from 8am – 10:00am, i.e. employees can choose to work 8-4:30pm, 8:30-5pm, etc. plus early finish on Friday!
